Seth Rogan stars as Ronnie Barnhardt, a bumbling, socially inept Head of Mall Security guard, that is out to prove he is more than just a mall cop, but looking to become a real bona fide police officer. Of course the only reason for that is so he can carry a gun, and protect people from creeps like the weirdo that flashes people outside of the mall. Co-starring Anna Faris as a ditzy cosmetics salesgirl and Michael Pena, as a 2nd in command security guard with a mysterious secret. The film is billed as a comedy but comes across as more of a dark comedy with few laughs though.

Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman join the cast of “Paul”
Seth Rogen and Jason Bateman have joined the cast of “Paul.” Paul is being written by Simon Pegg & Nick Frost and will be directed by Greg Mottola. Also joining the cast is Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Jane Lynch. Judging by the cast and the fact that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are writing & starring in this, this comedy should be very funny.

If you ever watched a Star Wars movie, you’ll appreciate this movie. If you’re a big time Star Wars nerd, you’ll like this movie even more. Fanboys is a dumb, low budget comedy but I found myself enjoying the film. It has a lot of funny references to Star Wars, hilarious cameos, and Kristen Bell in a slave bikini. I’d buy the movie just from the later.

Michel Gondry to Direct “The Green Hornet”
Michel Gondry is in negotiations to direct Columbia Pictures’ The Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogen and Stephen Chow, it was announced today by Doug Belgrad and Matt Tolmach, presidents of Columbia Pictures. The screenplay is by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg, who will also executive produce. Neal H. Moritz will produce the film through his Original Film production company. The film will begin shooting this summer and is set for release June 25, 2010. The film will be executive produced by Michael Grillo.

I really wanted to see Zack and Miri in movie theaters but I just never got around to it. I like most of Kevin Smiths movies but for some reason, I just donnt watch them as often as other comedies. I think Zack and Miri Make A Porno is a hilarious comedy that also has some sweet moments in it. Itns a romantic comedy but not really. Whatever style of comedy it is, itns funny and any Kevin Smith fans will enjoy this one!
