Conan O’Brien tickets for his live show are suddenly going on sale this morning at 10am! AHHH! A chance to see CoCo in person during an uncensored, no-holds barred live show should be insane. The NYC date is at Radio City Music Hall on June 1st, tickets for that go on sale at 10am this morning. Act Fast! Conan is adding a lot of tour dates which you can check out on Ticketmaster here. I’ve added the sale links below to the East Coast area shows:

Jimmy Kimmel is bringing the funny while Conan is off the air, and last night he aired a quick funny segment that features Huey Lewis. He was singing a spoof of “We Are The World” called “I am the World.” Check out after the jump!

A new season of Yo Gabba Gabba (that trippy weird kids show co-created by the Bat Commander of the Aquabats) commences within a week! There are a load of people appearing on the show (for some reason) and some of them include: Band of Horses, The Aquabats, Anthony Bourdain, Of Montreal, Mos Def, Devo, Sarah Silverman, and Weird Al Yankovic. I’m curious to see what these people will be doing. I’m sure YouTube will have clips of their embarrassment.

I literally only found out about Mayer Hawthorne yesterday and I just had to get his full-length debut album “A Strange Arrangement!” He performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live few weeks ago and it was an excellent performance. I feel like seeing him perform at Webster Hall in NYC on March 4th now too. If you love old school Soul/Motown like Curtis Mayfield, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, Jackie Wilson; then check out Mayer Hawthorne!

Robot Chicken is sticking around for another 2 season at Adult Swim/Cartoon Network. I haven’t seen the series lately but I guess it’s still funny and one of the highest original series on Adult Swim. The network ordered a total of 40 episodes, so that’s a lot more Robot Chicken! I guess I need to watch the series again, or at least see them on DVD where it’s uncensored & funnier. Read the press release after the jump:

The funniest late night talk show host, Conan O’Brien, is officially leaving NBC after 2 weeks of settlement talks. Everyone should know all the news by now so no point in recapping it for you. The talks were signed this morning, and Conan’s last show will be Friday night when he has Will Ferrell and Tom Hanks on his show. The two actors were the first guest on Conan’s short-lived Tonight Show which only started back in June. The unfunny Jay Leno will return to the Tonight Show March 1st.

The Golden Globes aired on NBC (Nothing But Crap) last night, and the award show was hosted by Ricky Gervais. He was very funny, as usual, and glad he finally hosted an awards show! I’ve been saying that for years that he needed to host one of those award shows. Since Golden Globes doesn’t really have a host, he was very under-used. His jokes about Paul McCartney and Mel Gibson were particularly great! Avatar was the big winner of the night, winning Best Picture and Best Director. That shocked me because I didn’t think people would vote for that. I thought Hurt Locker or Up in the Air were going to clean up last night.
