The 68th Annual Emmy Awards Nominations Were Announced
TV News | Jul 14th, 2016
The 68th annual Emmy Awards were announced today and like last few years, cable and streaming series have dominated the nomination list. Time to wake up broadcast TV! Game of Thrones got a bunch including Best Supporting Actor nominations for Peter Dinklage and Kit Harington (DA KING IN DA NORF!) and Best Supporting Actress nominations for Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Maisie Williams. Pretty cool that Maisie got one too! The other big one besides GOT was The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. That got a ton of nominations and it deserved it since that was a good show! Other shows that got a bunch were Mr Robot, House of Cards, Transparent, Veep, and Modern Family. The award show will air September 18th on ABC with host Jimmy Kimmel.
