On November 2nd, 2009, Pama International will release their brand new album ‘Pama Outernational’ through the Rockers Revolt label. The album will be preceded by the soul-injected smash ‘I Still Love You More’ (out on 19th Oct, available for preorder now from www.rockersrevolt.com).

The album is produced by Sean Flowerdew and John Collins (producer of The Specials iconic ‘Ghost Town’) and will also see domestic releases in USA (a joint Jump/Rockers Revolt release) and Venezuela (on S.Americans legends Desorden Publico’s very own label Radio Pirata). We are delighted to say that the album will also be distributed throughout the rest of the world by Proper (UK), Indigo (Germany), Family Affair (Italy), Planet Company (Australia/New Zealand), with more territories tba shortly.

Heavyweight dub sounds rule the way on an album that shamelessly holds it’s influences high. King Tubby & Lee Perry’s dub stylings meet the southern soul sounds of 1960’s Stax. The classic sounds of yesteryear, with a social commentary firmly cemented in the 21st century. Fronted by Sean Flowerdew, Finny and Lynval Golding (The Specials/Fun Boy 3) they’re backed by a wonderfully diverse array of musical talent, Lenny Bignell (Lord Large), Gary Alesbrook (Kasabian), Fuzz Townshend (Bentley Rhythm Ace/PWEI) & Lynval’s fellow 2 Tone band mate Sir Horace Panter.

With a number of UK tours under their belts including a fistful of dates supporting The Specials and a summer full of festival performances Pama International now announce their for a full UK tour…

In 2006 Pama Intl became the first new band in 30 years to sign to Trojan Records. 2008 saw a return to their deep-rooted DIY philosophy with the launch of their own Rockers Revolt label and the prompt release of their critically acclaimed ‘Love Filled Dub Band’, which received a host of 4-star reviews from magazines including MOJO, Record Collector, Echoes and Touch. 2009 they released ‘The Highrise Campaign’, an anti-gun/knife album, where they were joined by Billy Bragg, Groove Corp, Jimmy Screech, Mungos Hi Fi, Michie One and Wrongtom.

Now comes their strongest work todate… Pama Outernational, “the heavyweight dub sounds of now”… Pama International… Reggae For The People.
