Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

A little late in posting this but comedian Greg Giraldo has passed away from an accidental overdose. Giraldo was 44, and known for his Celebrity Roasts of has-been celebrities like David Hasselhoff and Jerry Springer. I first knew about Greg when he was a frequent guest on Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. We even did an interview with him back in 2005 as well, which you can read here. I also reviewed his latest stand-up Midlife Vices last October. He started out as a lawyer before changing careers, and was a guest on Lewis Black’s show, as well as a judge on Last Comic Standing. His funny roasts and stand-ups will be sorely missed!

Comedian Greg Giraldo — well-known for his work on such programs as Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil, several Comedy Central roasts, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing — has passed away. Both Comedy Central and NBC confirmed the comedian died Wednesday in a New Brunswick, N.J., hospital, just days after being hospitalized, reportedly for a prescription pill overdose.
