Highly appealing power-pop trio from Dallas. People say they have a New Wave influence, but really, they play modern power-pop along with an 80s synthesizer. The synth isn’t necessary for their music and becomes annoying after awhile, though some might like the novelty. The band does succeed, however, with very strong melodic hard rock that doesn’t sound cheesy or at all Weezer-ish (a common comparison).
