Groove-heavy r&b that dips heavily into 70s fusion jazz and funk. Most of the tunes are instrumentals – there are some standouts, but too many border on Yellowjackets-inspired filler/muzak.

The better tunes showcase intriguing and soulful female vox. Whoever she is, she’s the only element here that’s makes the retro tunes sound fresh. The instrumentals, although groovalistic and sometimes injected with international flair, are dated and a little corny.
