Motion Commotion straddle the line between bad indie rock and even worse adult contemporary pop. The band is comprised of graduates from major music schools, trained by Grammy winners. They add violin, clarinet, accordian and other keys to create… what? All said and done, MC don’t have a unique or interesting sound.

The album starts off with a cheesy radio-friendly rocker, and the rest is passionless, bland, lofi drivel. They sound like 40-year-olds analyzing and trying to replicate indie rock. It’s a sad failure.

Bottom Line: Bad attempt at bad lofi.
