With “ashes” in their name, I know you’re thinking metalcore or screamo. In fact, this band plays really progressive, sonic-infused hard-edged indie rock. Lots of guitar effects and echoey vocals… it’s like a punk take on dream-rock. Cool percussion too, especially on “Affinity”and “Christine Daae”. Not exactly like Coheed, but open-minded fans may want to check these guys out too.
