Arrested Development finally premieres on May 26th on Netflix! Can’t Wait! David Schwartz, The man behind the music of the cult TV series (or should it be could call Stream Series now?), talked about the music and the score of the show. The music was always quirky and hope we get to listen to it on a soundtrack at some point.

Bill Hader, one of the few remaining funny actors on SNL is leaving after the finale this weekend. If you thought the show wasn’t funny before, well wait until Bill Hader, Jason Sudekis and Seth Myers are gone. Woof. At least this means we’ll see Bill in more movies and other things like that. Check out some funny Bill Hader skits below.

According to EW, The IT Crowd is filming their finale special in a few weeks! As a big fan of the British series, I’m extremely excited over this! Season 4 just left you wanting more and more but it’s been hard to get everyone back together until now (especially Chris O’Dowd who’s become part of the Apatow crew). Not sure if this will be available for US fans right away, or if it will air at IFC where the episodes have aired before. Either way we’ll see it sooner or later.

Gee we’ve all heard this one before. NBC is replacing Jay Leno (again) of the Tonight Show gig in 2014 and Late Night host Jimmy Fallon will be taking over hosting duties. Seth Myers has been rumored to take over Late Night. In future news, NBC has decided to rip up Jimmy Fallon’s contract and replace Fallon with Jay Leno.

Earlier today, Colin Mochrie, one of the stars of the old hit improv show Whose Line Is It Anyways tweeted saying the show was coming back. Now it’s official, it’s coming back to the CW featuring Aisha Tyler as the host and the original cast! Well original cast of the ABC/ABC Family show that featured Drew Carey as the host. I used to love the British TV series and the ABC version so I’m happy about this news!

Yes, the Aquabats have a TV show and yes, it’s actually good. I found myself looking forward to Saturday mornings again because that’s when the Aquabats show airs on the HUB network. The show is quirky, funny, cheesy and great for both kids and adults! You don’t have to be a fan of their music to like the show, but it certainly helps. Shout Facotry is releasing The Aquabats! Super Show! Season One! on DVD on May 21st! Sadly, no word if this is being released on Blu-Ray.

Don’t Trust the B- in Apt. 23 is being put on hiatus/pulled from the schedule at ABC!? The show is really funny and quirky, but perhaps it’s low ratings is why it’s getting pulled. Happy Endings is in the same boat, except now ABC is airing 2 episodes of that. Hmm I wonder why Network TV is suffering so bad when they don’t even give TV series a chance to survive anymore. Hopefully they air the remaining 8 episodes in the can and the TV series gets picked up elsewhere. New rule: Stop watching TV shows on Network TV and stick with cable!

HBO and Brewery Ommegang are releasing a series of themed beers based on the critically-acclaimed drama, Game of Thrones. Wonder what the names of the beer will be? Winter Ale is Coming? Casterly Rock Brew? Night’s Watch Castle Black & Tan? Daenarys Draft Beer? Littlefinger Lite Beer? All I want to know is when are they releasing Milk Of The Poppy?

Chad Coleman who starred in the later seasons of The Wire has been cast as a fan favorite from the comic books of the Walking Dead. Not going to say who the character is even though others have said who it is, but you can figure it out based on looks and where the story is currently at. I couldn’t be more happy with the casting decision because I think he’s the perfect choice! Plus, I think he’s a great actor and was one of my favorites in The Wire.

FINALLY! Jay Pharoah, a guy that can actually impersonate Obama is going to play The President on Saturday Night Live. Fred Armisen has done his awful, awful shitty impression of Obama for too long now so glad they finally made the switch. SNL is going to look a little different this year since no more Wiig, Samberg and Elliot. Jason Sudekis is going to return to do his Mitt impression. If Mitt wins (noooooooo!), I doubt he will stay on to play Mitt for 4 years. The season premiere is this Saturday with Seth MacFarlane.

Mr. Anthony Bourdain is bringing his Guts & Glory tour (www.AnthonyBourdainonTour.com) to 12 cities this fall. Sadly, NYC isn’t one of them but he did talk in Brooklyn earlier this Summer. The chef, author, and television host (Travel Channel’s Emmy Award-winning Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, The Layover) will visit cities for one night, sharing candid, often hysterical insights about his life’s work and travels, including an open question and answer session with the audience. Sounds like a great time!
