The trailer for A Nightmare on Elm Street remake premiered the other day. It stars Jackie Earle Haley, Thomas Dekker, Kyle Gallner and Connie Britton; Michael Bay is producing it. Bay has a tendency to produce crappy remakes so viewers beware.
While I won’t be seeing this movie at all because I’m a big wimp, some horror fans MIGHT like to see this. I’m not sure, a lot of people are loyal to the original Freddie Kreueger. After all, he is a classic character that’s going to be hard to replace. But if there’s an actor that can do it, I think JEH will be the man. You can’t judge the movie by the trailer though. The film will be released on April 30, 2010.
