There was news today that Against Me’s Laura Jane Grace was going to have a reality series premiere later this year on AOL. At first, I kind of groined because I really didn’t want Laura to go down that road (ie. The Osbournes, Gene Simmons, Flavor Flav) but then I saw the trailer. The trailer actually makes the series look a lot better than I was hoping and seems more a documentary style than some cheesy reality show. At least that’s my feelings on watching a 2 minute video.
The story of Punk rock singer Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! who came out as a woman in 2012, and other members of the trans community whose experiences are woefully underrepresented and misunderstood in the media.
