Marvel Studios has found their director for the Captain America movie and it’s director Joe Johnston. Johnston has directed such movies as The Rocketeer, Jumanji, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, October Sky, Hidalgo and Jurassic Park III. Currently he’s working on “The Wolfman” with Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins. Currently talks are under way to find a writer to write the screenplay. No actor has been chosen to play Captain America either.

Joe Johnston has inked a deal to direct “First Avenger: Captain America,” Marvel Studios’ take on its classic comic book character. Marvel’s Kevin Feige is producing.

No writers are on board, but the studio, which is hearing pitches, expects to hire shortly.
