Sorry Folks, No Image Is Here.

After last minute visa problems in 2009, Bernard Sumner of New Order had to cancel tour dates for his new group Bad Lietuenant, which included dates with The Pixies. Four US shows have now been re-scheduled, including a stop at Coachella! These will be Bad Lieutenant’s first performances on US soil since the release of their new album Never Cry Another Tear.

Sumner brought together a stellar band to record Never Cry Another Tear including New Order guitarist Phil Cunningham, BLUR bassist Alex James, and Joy Division/New Order drummer Stephen Morris and upcoming vocalist Jake Evans for some vocals and guitars as well.

Bad Lieutenant will be joined on these dates by drummer Stephen Morris and bassist Tom Chapman. According to Sumner, “The bulk of the set will be Bad Lieutenant songs, but we’ll also play some songs from my past, some New Order songs, some Joy Division, and a few other surprises.”

The shows are:

April 16 Regency Ballroom, San Francisco, CA – (tickets on sale Sunday, February 14)
April 17 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Indio, CA (tickets on sale NOW)
April 19 Park West, Chicago, IL – (tickets on sale Saturday, February 13)
April 21 Webster Hall, New York, NY – (tickets on sale Friday, February 12)
