Blackout! Records has announced the signing of THE FIRE STILL BURNS to their roster. Featuring former/current members of such great bands as LIFETIME, ENSIGN, EX NUMBER FIVE, THE SCARLET LETTER, and VISION, this rock infused melodic punk/hardcore outfit draws heavily from their prior endeavors to re-invent a sound that is both timeless and beloved. Having only been together less than a year, THE FIRE STILL BURNS have already become fan favorites the world over, helped in part by their music being dispersed via the internet.

THE FIRE STILL BURNS have just finished recording their six song debut release for Blackout! at Big Blue Meenie Studio in Union City, NJ. The EP, entitled “Keeping Hope Alive,” is slated to hit streets in October 2005.
