The Briefs have confirmed October tour plans in support of their upcoming new album Steal Yer Heart (out Oct. 18 on BYO Records). As previously announced, the band is joined by newest addition, Steve Kicks on bass (formerly of Canadian Punk Outfit, New Town Animals) who also took part in the recording of the upcoming full-length. Expect “Steal Yer Heart” to RULE with the Briefs’ sharpened shocks of 2 minute punk anthems. Sorry folks, no songs about sex toys this time, but expect another batch of pure sing-along gems.

They’ve been out on the road non stop in the US, Europe, & Japan and are finishing up dates with the Street Dogs after playing the East Coast leg of the Warped Tour that just concluded. They’re set to make a special appearance with fellow Seattle export, Pearl Jam for a very special one time show in Missoula, MT August 29 @ the University of Montana.

Also, the Briefs will be joining label mates, Youth Brigade, Last Target, Pistol Grip, Clit 45, and the Forgotten in San Bernardino for SUPER-festival-o-punk, the US WASTED FESTIVAL on October 8th. Among the tens of awesome bands at the festival this year, the 2 day show will feature other acts like Cocksparrer, The Weirdos, Flogging Molly, Angelic Upstarts, The Effigies, Agent Orange, The Addicts, Slaughter and the Dogs featuring Steve Jones, The Casualties and many more!
