Just when you thought Riot Fest was done announcing bands, they announced another wave of bands to play the Chicago Riot Fest. They added: Primus, Tokyo Police Club, Say Anything, The Hold Steady, Frank Iero, Only Crime, Lemuria, Pity S*x, From Indian Lakes, Lucki Eck$, Tiny Moving Parts, The Bots, The Picturebooks, and Survay Says. They will join The Cure, The National, Jane’s Addiction, Weezer, Flaming Lips, Slayer and Wu-Tang Clan and a ton more on September 12-14.

“This is really about thanking our fans. The work put into the lineups this year and things like the essential albums plays is for them… as clichéd as it may sound, it’s the truth. We’d be nowhere without them and maybe the way we thank them is by giving them a fest where we can all sing along”, explained Mike Petryshyn, festival founder.

On top of the flagship festival in Chicago, Riot Fest will also take over Toronto (September 6-7), and Denver (September 19-21).
