Australian natives, Closure In Moscow, have announced their first US Tour kicking off March 11th in Salt Lake City, UT. Although the short trek stays mostly to the west coast, a stop at high profile festival, SXSW in Austin, TX is scheduled. The band will be supporting A Skylit Drive (Fearless Records) and Dance Gavin Dance (Rise Records).

The quintet recently relocated to the US to record with producer Kris Crummett (Emarosa, Dance Gavin Dance, Kaddisfly). Crummett also recorded the band’s debut EP, The Penance And The Patience, for which the band sold many personal belongings – including frontman, Chris DeCinque’s American imported Cadillac – to fly the producer to Australia.

The entire relocation and recording process is being taped by director Gareth McGilvray for a web series set to launch later this week. McGilvray also directed the band’s music videos for “We Want Guarantees” and “Here’s To Entropy” which are available for viewing on the Equal Vision YouTube channel.

The band has prepared a video announcement regarding their first tour that can be seen vimeo.com/2812079here.
