MIKE VALLELY WEARING MANY HATS ON VANS WARPED TOUR 07 IN ADDITION TO A SKATING DEMO LOOK FOR HIS BAND, REVOLUTION MOTHER, TO PLAY EVERY STOP

MIKE V’S SHOW “DRIVE” BACK FOR A SECOND SEASON ON FUEL TV

Skateboard legend and east coast rebel punk-poet Mike Vallely will be joining the Vans Warped Tour 07 in an unprecedented role. Mike V, frontman for punk band Revolution Mother and the star of the Fuel television series Drive, will not only be bringing his intense, passionate and diverse skating to every stop of the 45 city North American tour. In addition to Mike’s skating on Vans Warped Tour, Revolution Mother, the high energy progressive punk band fronted by Mike V, will perform several sets throughout the day at the ramp / stage location where Mike will be riding. Revolution Mother’s debut record will be in stores summer 2007.

Mike V is the first athlete/musician to perform in a dual role on the Vans Warped Tour. Of his role, Mike V says – “I will skate my ass off everyday, put on a hell of a show on and off my board, be accessible and spend real time with the kids. Every person that comes my way will be stoked and feel like they got their money’s worth. I’m looking forward to a summer of skating and rocking.”

Mike V is also back on the road in his second season of the skateboarding series “DRIVE,” airing on FUEL TV for seven weeks beginning April 1, 8:00 pm ET/PT. Based on the award-winning documentary film of the same name, “DRIVE” hits the pavement with the professional skateboarder as he travels the world exploring the people, places, and issues defining skateboarding and youth culture today.
