The Saints and Sinners Festival returns for another year. The 2007 incarnation of the event will take place November 3 and 4, 2007 at Asbury Park, NJ’s famed Convention Hall.

The 2006 edition of the festival served to establish Saints and Sinners as one of the nation’s premier underground rock festival concert events and featured performances from Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, Every Time I Die, Mindless Self Indulgence, Job For A Cowboy, and many more. Thus, there was no protest as to whether the event would be back for round two in 2007. “Our aim was to create a sister festival to Bamboozle where we can develop heavier bands, while bringing it back to where we started”, explains Rob George of Max Cruise.

This year’s roster of bands only builds on the impressive lineup of last year’s event, bringing together premier artists including Against Me!, Glassjaw, Saves The Day, Norma Jean, Agnostic Front, and dozens more of the top and up-and-coming underground artists in rock, metal, hardcore and punk. Aside from a killer line up, this year’s event also hosts the second edition of The Crusade contest. This battle of the bands style contest rewards the winner, chosen from an impressive field of hundreds of local and regional unsigned artists, with a slot on the Saints and Sinners main stage! The event will also include an extensive vendors area, featuring artist and sponsor merchandise, autograph signing sessions, and much more.

The massive event will be held at Asbury Park’s Convention Hall, a 3500 capacity indoor arena. Located on the historic Asbury Park boardwalk, this venue has stood as an important New Jersey landmark since it’s construction in 1923.

The 2007 Saints and Sinners Festival, featuring two days, three stages, and sixty bands, is certainly an event not to be missed!
