The countdown is on. The All-American Rejects are scheduled to release their eagerly awaited third album WHEN THE WORLD COMES DOWN, on November 18th on DGC/Interscope/Doghouse. The new album follows-up the RIAA double-platinum Move Along, released July 2005. WHEN THE WORLD COMES DOWN is The All-American Rejects first project with veteran producer Eric Valentine, known for his work with multi-platinum artists Maroon 5, Smash Mouth, Good Charlotte, Queens Of the Stone Age, and more.

Gives You Hell has been chosen as the first single, and fans can now stream it for free on Imeem. Head over to www.imeem.com/theallamericanrejects/music/UP1qxdJz/the_allamerican_rejects_gives_you_hell/ to check it out.

It s what we were put on this earth to create, says Tyson Ritter of the new album. This record hasn t been smooth sailing, confesses Nick of WHEN THE WORLD COMES DOWN. The new album was conceived from one end of the country to the other from a secluded cabin in the Georgia wilderness (where Mona Lisa came to be), to a little place that Ty and Nick have on Florida s Gulf Coast (The Real World), to the back of a bus cruising Interstate 10 (Breaking’s What the Heart Is For), and yet another road trip (this one to Vancouver, for Gives You Hell). AAR s first duet, Another Heart Calls, features the hypnotic vocals of The Pierces, two sisters from Alabama.

WHEN THE WORLD COMES DOWN builds on the success of their sophomore CD. Move Along (produced by Howard Benson, of Hooba-stank, P.O.D and Daughtry renown) is approaching 6 million in digital sales and has reigned on the Billboard 200 chart for nearly 100 weeks, entering at #6 and spinning off three Top 10 singles and videos:

Dirty Little Secret, the long-running first single (released concurrently with the album in July 2005), went to #4 on the CHR/Top 40 chart, and #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it spent 39 weeks. It also went to #1 on the Hot Digital Songs chart, one of the first songs to sell 1 million down-loads (a rare RIAA platinum title) across all digital partners of Universal Music, including Apple s iTunes and other digital distributors, going on to sell close to 2 million songs.

Move Along, the title track second single, entered the Hot 100 in January 2006 (while Dirty Little Secret was still going strong). It reached #4 at Hot AC, #5 on the Hot Digital list, #9 at CHR/Top 40, and #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it also spent 39 weeks, garnering close to 2 million in digital sales. The video for Move Along, a #1 MTV TRL favorite, was directed by Marc Webb and went on to win Best Group Video at the 2006 MTV VMAs.

It Ends Tonight, the third single, was released September 2006, toward the end of the long-distance chart run of Move Along. It gave the album its third consecutive Top 10 hit, rising to #7 on the Hot AC and Billboard Pop 100, and #8 on the Hot 100 and CHR/Top 40 charts.
