The Decemberists have announced their “phase one” dates for May and June. The tour will start out in California and they will work there way over to Radio City Music Hall in NYC on June 10th. The band is set to release a new album “The Hazards of Love” on March 24th on Capitol. The band said this in their newsletter:

Cutting straight to the chase: we Decemberists are pleased (and not just pleased, but pleasd) to announce, here in 72 dpi glory, the dates of Phase One of the “A Short Fazed Hovel” Tour 2009.
