The Maine will be heading out this winter on “The Secret Valentine Tour” with We The Kings, The Cab, There for Tomorrow and Versa Emerge. The tour will kick off on February 6 in Vermont and conclude on March 4 in Pennsylvania.
The Tempe, Arizona natives, who burst onto the scene in early 2007, have been making a name for themselves in the music world with their catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. It didn’t take long after releasing their debut EP, The Way We Talk for fans to start taking notice as the Maine climbed to the number ten slot on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.
The Maine released their first full-length album, Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop, in July 2008 and they have toured overseas and nationwide with the likes of All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Metro Station, and The Academy Is. The Maine was named by Alternative Press as one of the “100 Bands You Need to Know in 2008,” and currently their new music video for “Girls Do What They Want” is in rotation on MTV, MTV2, MTV HITS, and mtvU.
Don’t miss a chance to check out one of the band’s high-energy performances as they hit the road for a month-long tour this February!!
