Unwritten Law announce new tour dates and online benefit auctions

Unwritten Law are hitting the road for a string of shows still in support of their live record and also to help out front man, Scott Russo, who lost his home to a Fire back in February. There will be some online benefit auctions helped to raise some funds for Scott and his big family. Please help out if you can spare it. Check out the rest of the story after the jump.
Unwritten Law Announces New Tour Dates & Partners With Unite The United Foundation For Online Benefit Auctions
Southern California’s Unwritten Law has announced a new batch of tour dates. The group is currently touring in support of their first ever live album and DVD, “Live & Lawless”, which was recently released through Suburban Noize Records. Unwritten Law is currently writing and recording their upcoming new studio album, which will be released later this year.
Unwritten Law frontman Scott Russo recently lost his family home to a fire late in the evening of Thursday, February 5th 2009. Russo, his parents, his two young sons, and his daughter Cailin all shared the San Diego home. Although no family members were injured, the family lost all their personal belongings and their beloved pets.
To date over $60,000 has been raised to help the Russo family through fan donations, along with donations from the Unite The United Foundation, the San Diego Music Foundation and a sold-out benefit concert at the House of Blues in San Diego with Jason Mraz, Swithfoot, Timmy Curran, Anya Marina, and Unwritten Law.
Suburban Noize has partnered with Kevin Lyman’s Unite The United Foundation to hold a series of online benefit auctions with all proceeds going to the Scott Russo Family Foundation. The items being auctioned off can be viewed online at http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/unitetheunited. The auction begins on Tuesday Apr 28th at 10:00 AM Pacific Time , ending Tuesday May 5 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time
The Unite The United Foundation is a public non-profit, fundraising organization founded by the producers of the Vans Warped Tour Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour and Mayhem Festival. It is their mission to encourage fans, artists and industry leaders from the music, touring and action sports worlds to work toward a positive change in our national community by supporting grassroots charities and participating in community volunteerism events across the United States.
