Myspace Presents The Von Bondies’ ‘Love, Hate And Then There’s You’ Tour With Special Guests Nico Vega

New Album Due Out February 3 Via Majordomo Records Featuring The Single “Pale Bride”

As THE VON BONDIES gear up for the February 3 release of Love, Hate And Then There’s You–their third studio album and debut for Majordomo Records (an imprint of Shout! Factory)–the Michigan-based rock outfit has teamed up with MySpace to present their “Love, Hate And Then There’s You” tour with special guests Nico Vega. The first round of dates commence in mid-February and includes stops throughout the Northeast including Toronto, Montreal, New York, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Cleveland and Ann Arbor. Additional dates for the Midwest and West Coast legs of the tour will be announced in early 2009.

Joining THE VON BONDIES’ frontman and guitarist Jason Stollsteimer and drummer Don Blum on the dates are bassist Leann Banks and guitarist Christy Hunt. They’ll perform songs from Love, Hate And Then There’s You, filled with highlights like the first single and video “Pale Bride,” “Accidents Will Happen,” and “21st Birthday.” Stollsteimer’s newest batch of songs, as well as Blum’s co-writes, were penned over the past few years and recorded sporadically during that period. Producers Butch Walker (Hot Hot Heat, The Donnas, All-American Rejects) and Rick Parker (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) fine-tuned the recordings.

What can fans expect to hear? In an early review of the album, the national Venus (winter 2009 issue) wrote: “The thrilling and bombastic drumbeat opening of ‘This Is Our Perfect Crime’ quickly establishes the record’s driving pace. Stollsteimer’s got a knack for writing hooks and choruses that beg you to sing along. ‘Pale Bride’ unapologetically boasts power chords and Stollsteimer’s sneering chorus ‘I don’t care anymore’ is full of rock n’ roll swagger” (Lindsay Trapnell).

Sun 2/15 Les Saints Montreal, CANADA

Mon 2/16 Mercury Lounge New York City, NY
