One of America’s premier rock bands for over 30 years, Aerosmith have provided some excellent music in that time. Featuring the stellar Steven Tyler and outstanding guitarist Joe Perry, Aerosmith has had some ups and downs as a group, but have been a solid original line up for more than 20 years. A number of hits (that are included on this disc) span four decades including “Dream On,” “Love in an Elevator,” “Jaded,” and their brand new hit “Devil’s Got a new Disguise,” which is also the album title.

Though there are other best of, very best of, or essential Aerosmith albums, fans can now own the very best of Aerosmith including their latest chart topper. If you are just a fan of their music and not obsessed with everything Aerosmith, this compilation of some of the band’s biggest hits are included on here. Tyler is still going strong, with his vocals as tight as they have ever been and its great to witness the band’s progression over the years. Strictly a rock band back in the 70’s, dealing with personal issues, and than in the 80’s & 90’s, the band have rejuvenated success with several chart toppers like “Rag Doll,” and “Janie’s Got a Gun.” Every Aerosmith fan should get this record, if they don’t have the essential tunes from the band.

Bottom Line: Another best of CD from the band but just an update with newer tracks like “Devil’s Got a New Disguise.”
