This album is almost a year old and I’m just reviewing to it now. I’m slow, big whoop wanna fight about it?! I don’t believe I heard Aiden’s music before but it’s what I’d expect from the “new” Victory Records. Most of Victory’s music sounds awfully alike and I wish they still had bands on there like Warzone, Earth Crisis, Hatebreed, etc. It just doesn’t feel like the same label anymore.

But let’s talk about Aiden shall we. They play this dancey rock/post-hardcore music and to me, it sounds like they are trying to sound like goth new wave bands like The Cure. I’ll be honest, I don’t think this stuff is the worse thing in the world. There are a few catchy songs and I like the beat of the drums on most of the songs. But is this something I’d listen to normally? No.

Bottom Line: Catchy post-hardcore music that the kids will love.
