The Ankles are a rocky emo band and from the start, I’m not really impressed with them. Some bands you can tell from the first note if you are going to like them or not. While I thought some songs were better than others, I just think this band needs some work. I’m also not a fan of the screechy guitars. I think the band sounds better when they are playing slower music. I don’t say that too often in reviews.

Bottom Line: Eh.
