Hey, this band is okay! I was a little hesitant when receiving this because I haven’t liked the last few Victory Records releases. Either because it wasn’t the style of music I prefer or I simply didn’t like the CD but this is pretty good stuff. The band hails from Lawn Guyland (Long Island) and have a emo/ melodic rock sound with a hint of punk. Some songs sound like the Smoking Popes and other times they have a sound different from other bands. I don’t really have any complaints about this CD and Bayside is worth listening to if you like the melodic rock music. Fans of..? Smoking Popes, Fall Out Boy, Alkaline Trio, and Nirvana will like this. Notable Tracks: “Phone Call From Poland” “A Synonym For Acquiesce” Rating: Reviewer:
