This is Bent Left’s second release and have been around since 2002. They hail from Rolla, Missouri, if that strikes any interest to you. I doubt it, but hey, I need filler. Their music is a mixture of hardcore punk and street punk, or at least that’s the styles I hear. The band seems to be really politically and that’s always a good thing when it comes to punk music. The music sounds like Suicide Machines meets Against All Authority, minus the horns. I think the growling vocalist makes me think of Against All Authority, and the style of music sounds like a harder Suicide Machines. The songs sound decent, nothing really stands out or me saying “now that’s a good song!” But I think the overall album is good, of course there are a few songs that aren’t as good as others. But if you want to support a smaller punk band, trying to get some recognition; go to Bent Left’s website and purchase their CD and give them a listen.

Bottom Line: Politically charged punk rock from Missouri. This album is ok.
Notable Tracks: Pirates of Liberty, Blood Stained Flag, Silent Fist of Revolution
