Once again, we have some fast hardcore street punk similar to the Casualties and the US Bombs. Only this time Clit 45 is slightly more listenable than 46 Short. I’m getting confused with all of these numbers.

“2,4,6,8…” appears to be a collection of songs that had appeared on various EP’s and such with a couple of unreleased songs sprinkled in for good measure. The punk was fast and vicious but generally the songs sounded repetitive. On only a few occasions did the songs vary from the overall sound on this collection. End Of You (Pt. 2) was one of these examples. The music was slightly slower but the guitars were dominant and the drums actually changed up from the straightforward punk stuff on everything else. Used To Have A Life is a pretty good punk anthem song and was also a welcomed change of pace. For everything else on here, just put in a Casualties album and you’ve heard the rest.

Street punk, hardcore, whatever other label you want to put on fast punk music…I wasn’t impressed with this album in particular or this band in general. I like faster punk music, but I also like melody and variation in my music. Listening to the same song 13 times in a row just doesn’t cut it. If you’ve ever picked up one of those punk compilations with the Xeroxed looking covers on it, then you’ve pretty much heard every song on this album already.

Bottom Line:
Notable Tracks: End Of You (Pt. 2), Used To Have A Life
