You know the female singer that sung on the song The Dirty Glass with Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys? Well now Stephanie Dougherty has a punk rock band called The Deadly Sins that she fronts along with Billy Brown of Crash and Burn. They hail from the Boston area and they sound awesome!

Selling Our Weaknesses is being released on Durty Mick Records and contains 12 songs that share stories of life, love, betrayal and death. The first two tracks on the album are Grey Skies Turn and Barely Breathing, and you really get the sense how the band sounds with those first 2 tracks. I think the best song on album is the song Open Casket. It starts off all slow with Stephanie singing, but then picks up steam. The chorus is catchy as hell and I can see this becoming a fan favorite at shows. Besides Steph singing, Billy offers his vocals to a few tracks like Ashes and Street Lamp. Those are some great tunes as well! Fans of Dropkick Murphys, Civet, and the Unseen will love the Deadly Sins!

Bottom Line: Excellent debut full-length!
Notable Tracks: Open Casket, Riot, Ashes, Street Lamp
