The Dirty White’s thick, heavy bass riffs and in-your-face vocal style might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it reminds me (favorably) of DC-style post-punk/early hardcore. What I like even more is that they mix their brash spazziness with hooks and humor.

The Dirty White isn’t doing anything new or fresh, but it’s hard to dislike the noisy-yet-lighthearted sound and they do it well.

Bottom Line: I like songs about Dabney Coleman.
