Portland, OR’s The Escaped return with a 6-song EP on TKO that is fast and
furious. With dual singers, The Escaped are in the old school hardcore and punk category and do it well. Who would of thought Portland could spawn some rockin’ hardcore punk? Although, this record is short, coming in at only 13 minutes, The Escaped’s music can be found on several labels including Black Out. I like that there are two singers in the band. It adds some depth to the furiousness of the band and I can’t imagine how fast the circle pits are at the shows.

Bottom Line: Explosive old school hardcore punk that kicks ass.
