Female-fronted dream pop. It’s somewhat eclectic – “Thats Fo Sho” has a country twang, “Voices Heard” has a funk beat – but the album maintains a steady brooding-yet-ethereal production.

And yet it’s all extremely dull and stale-sounding, and the vocals don’t succeed in selling it. In the end, The Good Mornings are mediocre singer/songwriter music with a fuzzy edge.

Bottom Line: Dream pop that fails to enchant.
