With their second record on Hellcat, Horrorpops are out to prove they are not going to conform to any trend of the music scene. Rock n Roll and psychobilly (rockabilly) are the bands influences and they definitely show what they are about on “Bring It On.” Female fronted vocals with rockin’ upright bass playing, and Geoff Kresge (formerly of Tiger Army) joins the mix, which makes HorrorPops have an overall great sound. HorrorPops have played with such bands as The Offspring, Lars Frederiksen, and soon will be joing Roger Miret and the Disasters on tour. HorrorPops brought Producer Brett Gurewitz along for the ride this time, and the album definitely is in good hands. 13 fun, rockabilly tracks that will show a new generation of punk and rock fans something new.

Bottom Line: Impressive second record from the Denmark/LA band, with a welcomed addition in Geoff Kresge.
