I think this is Lifeguard Nights’ 34th album. Every time a baby smiles, an album is released.

This is another solid, interesting album that continues the Americana/alt-folk sound of M and Church of Song, with some eclectic and sonic twists. Check out “Cut and Paste,” which has cool electro bleeps; “Allie Says,” which is a tight Beck-like tune over a hip-hop beat; the upbeat jamboree feel of “RSVP”; and “Rumble in the Jungle Gym,” a trippy and rhythmic but very sing-song tune.
