These guys have been at the margins for a decade or so, even though they look and sound like they’ve been playing since the 70s – the lead singer (Mr. Yummy) has a weathered, Dee Dee Ramone gauntness, and the bassist (The Hevy Weaseler) looks like an obese desk cop counting the minutes til retirement. The band plays decent midtempo punk n’ roll that dips into immaturity and simplicity, but they sometimes surprise with a well-written piece or political commentary. They’re not mind-blowing, but a lot better than a lot of other never-heard-of-em old dudes playing punk.

Bottom Line: The ZZ Top of punk.
Notable Tracks: “Calling My Name,” “White Guys In Suits”
