I’ve never really been a NFG fan because I think they are extremely whiny and sound like a bunch of sissies. Plus, I feel like I have to be a teenager to listen to this music. Hasn’t this band been on every teen comedy soundtrack in the last 8 years? It just seems like that type of music to me and it’s not something I want to really listen to.

I know some of NFG’s popular songs and that cover album that was somewhat decent. The band has come a long way since covering songs from Karate Kid 2, and now they are on a major label and being heard on the radio all the time. Musically, this new album doesn’t sound all that bad but like I said above, it’s not something I want to listen to everyday. New Found Glory’s music is catchy, I’ll give them that. This album sounds a bit different than their previous stuff because it’s more straight-up rock. I never even considered these guys punk because well, they never were. Other dopes have called them that but this album further exemplifies that they aren’t a punk band and never will be. You can’t really call them sell outs since they sold out years ago. As far as this being a rock album, people will really like this CD if they enjoy NFG’s stuff. But for me, I’d rather listening to white noise.

Bottom Line: Not bad, but I wouldn’t want to listen to this again.
