Traditional Middle Eastern folk music, melodies, and instruments. Raquy adorns the cover and she looks like a naked hippy, but the music seems serious and earnest.

The music is good – the melodies sound mostly Egyptian to me, and the percussion Indian. But what do I know. Anyway, this is a good intro to Middle Eastern music, even if it’s being played by Americans. And it’s great to get stoned to, but, again, what do I know (hi mom!).
