This is an incredible album. Scared of Chaka have that SOUND… the Sound of Rockin’. This is non-wussy melodic punk at its best. Catchy vocal lines, repetitive and fast guitar lines, and a garage-like production that sounds like they all had to share one microphone so they all had to rock out for all its worth to be heard.

I’ve listened to this album more than any other punk release this year. It’s good. Pick it up. This being a Sub City release, 5% of proceeds will go to the New Day Youth & Family Services, a non-profit community-based agency which offers shelter, treatment, education, and other quality services for at-risk youths in New Mexico, SOC’s home state.
