I like hardcore that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but these guys are downright goofy. In terms of lunkheadedness, they bring to mind the party antics of bands like No Redeeming Social Value, 2 Man Advantage, and early Suicidal Tendencies.
Musically, though, they’re no great shakes. They’re stripped down and reminiscent of the late 80s, but too sloppy and meatheaded. They might be fun live, but I’d be too scared of the crowd to confirm this.
Bottom Line: NYNYHC (Nyuk Nyuk Hardcore).
