Vocalist Keli Reule sings by drawing out words in an anguished yet sultry way, injecting a gothy Siouxsie Siouxness to an otherwise bland band that’s part art-rock and part bar-rock. I love the dark and brooding feel, especially over the more energetic alternarock bits, but the songwriting isn’t strong enough to keep up interest.
