I wish they were more silent. They’re melodic, but they’re also really noisy. Not in a noise band way, more like that the guitars and drums weren’t mixed well, so they end up sonically distracting. That problem is compounded when the singer yells like Frank Black. He’s better when he sings normally – he doesn’t pull spastic off well.
