Not a ska band, unfortunately (or maybe fortunately – after all, how good could a ska band called Skamper be?). This LA group plays a sunny style of electro-rock, in this case a mix of light industrial, Britpop, and power pop. Less Orgy and more Depeche Mode.

While I’m not a fan of dark, spooky industrial, these guys are too far in the opposite direction. Nothing wrong with being bright and cheerful, but here it comes off as corny and too retro.
