These guys used to be a youthful, energetic pop-punk band. Now they’re an old, grungey, “punk-influenced rock group.” I mean, they’re not bad, but they sound like Candlebox. Bright hooks, 90s college radio feel, toothless riffs, big alternative-era vocals that borders on balladry… The songwriting might be maturer, but will anyone care?
