I guess Danny Elfman only does comic book movies now? The score is in the vein of Spiderman, but with a sound that something Hans Zimmer would compose. He uses a lot of Indian/Middle Eastern/African singing & instruments in it. Though that might be from the composer, Mychael Danna, who was originally working on the score when Mychael quit or got fired from the project. Some tracks also sound like Ronin, and Planet of the Apes. The main title pops up all over the score, and it has a “be, bop, be, bop” melody if you can figure what the hell I just typed haha. I really like the track “Hulk’s Freedom” with the female vocals humming and singing. I think the score could have been a lot better, but maybe I have to give it more of a listen to see how I really feel about it.

Bottom Line: Not one of Danny Elfman’s best, but it’s decent considering the time he had to work on the score.
