Unless I’m reading the press release wrong, I think this is one dude from Weezer and one dude from Rocket From The Crypt. I can see that. TSG have a dorky, Weezerish sound, but without the radio accessibility. A couple of songs have some catchy, rockin’ appeal, like “Life Goes By” and “Pardon Me,” but mostly the guitar parts are boring and stale, and the vocals are too emo and off-key. Not my cup of tea.
