First skapunk. Then they dropped the ska. Now they dropped the punk. Once again changing their sound, the SM must have used up all their aggressiveness on “Battle Hymns.” They’re now very comparable to Mr. T Experience, believe it or not. Thing is, I like this sound better than anything else they’ve done, and the songs that sound most like MTX are best. This is probably their best album. Hopefully they’ll either keep this sound or change it again, so long as they don’t do the skapunk thing anymore.
