The 60s called. They want “Rubber Soul”, “Magical Mystery Tour”, and “Pet Sounds” back, but you can keep the twangy guitars and zany vocal effects. This is a damn good, solid album if you like sunny, psychedelic pop. Which I don’t, because I live in a cold, bleak little world.
